Due to boundary changes for the UK General Election of 2024 (GE2024), Winchburgh and Faucheldean are now in the “Bathgate and Linlithgow” Constituency.

The remainder of our Branch area (Broxburn, Uphall, Dechmont, Ecclesmachan and surrounding areas) stays in the “Livingston” Constituency.

For UK Elections, it is the requirement, introduced by Westminster, to have an permitted means of identification before being allowed to vote. So, always make sure you are (a) REGISTERED to VOTE and (b) take along acceptable IDENTIFICATION when you go to the Polling Station. Or else you can, of course, register for a postal vote.

Unfortunately, our incredibly hard-working, experienced and effective sitting candidates Martyn Day (Bathgate & Linlithgow) and Hannah Bardell (Livingston) were not returned to Westminster this time, but the BUW Branch would like to thank them and their teams for their incredible efforts over several parliamentary sessions.

Of course, a special thanks to all of you who voted for them and continue to support the cause.
